LeeAnn Lindsey, Verizon Thinkfinity's Professional Development Coordinator, was recently elected to the board of the Arizona Technology in Education Association (AzTEA) for a three-year term. AzTEA, a state affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), is a professional non-profit organization devoted to increasing teaching and learning achievement through educational technology. Through AzTEA and Thinkfinity, LeeAnn will continue to enhance the educational development of students and teachers.

Powerful PBS Documentary about Domestic Violence Premieres

A new national PBS documentary aimed at raising awareness of domestic violence premiered at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., on May 18, before an audience of domestic violence prevention advocates. Based on a powerful true story, "Telling Amy's Story" was funded by a grant from the Verizon Foundation.
