Important System Reminder:

All 2009 MIP and VIP donations must be complete and registered by December 31, 2009. Dollars donated and hours volunteered in a prior calendar year are ineligible for matching gifts (e.g.: hours volunteered in 2008 are not eligible to be registered in 2009, the transaction will be rejected.)

First Time User Registration - I am an active US based Verizon employee and this is my first time using Verizon's online Matching Gifts Program system.

Returning User Log In - I am an active US Based Verizon employee and I have used Verizon's online Matching Gifts Program system before.

Nonprofit Organization - I am a nonprofit organization trying to confirm receipt of a Verizon Volunteers matching gift or volunteer hours.

New for 2009: Active U.S. Based Employees: New for 2009, please register your volunteer hours using our new online Volunteer Journal. You can now register daily volunteer journal entries, or can make one journal entry for multiple days of volunteerism with the same organization/school.

Steps to earn a VIP Grant

  1. Login to the online Volunteer Journal system to log your daily volunteer activities
  2. When you log 50 or more hours with a qualified nonprofit or public school, complete the VIP online matching gift registration
  3. Instruct your nonprofit to confirm your volunteer hours
  4. VIP checks are mailed quarterly
